5 stars for this chocolat cafe!
+Helpful and attentive employees
+Reasonable prices
+Good selection of food and drinks to order. Got the sourdough toast to eat (it was delicious) and an iced mocha. The iced mocha was not too sweet at all so I was pleasantly surprised. It had a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream, and a little piece of chocolate. It did not have too much caffeine in it either. All lent themselves nicely to the overall drink. My +1 got the iced coffee and it was really tasty.
+They have a good selection of chocolates to purchase for yourself later or for gifts. There are a variety of Lindt chocolates that they have from various places around the world so it's really nice to be able to get them all in one place.
+Not too crowded or loud

My friends and I had received a Lindt gift card, so we came to the cafe. It is conveniently located right near Martin Place. The cafe is quite large and has an ample amount of seating, chocolate shop, and cased desserts. We ended up ordering the tasting platter, which came with waffles, ice cream, brownies, strawberries, macarons, and melted chocolate! It was a perfect way to try a variety of desserts and not feel terrible afterwards. My favorite was probably the macarons! They were excellent! I also had the milk hot chocolate, which was served as hot milk and liquid chocolate. It was fun to pour them together to create a rich delicious hot chocolate. My friend had the raspberry milkshake and liked it but thought the consistency of it was a bit off. After eating, we spent the rest of the money buying their truffles of course! If you need to satisfy a sweet tooth, go to the Lindt cafe!

Very pleasant today, not too many people, staff always courteous with a lovely smile ..
All was yummy ... pastry on quiche thin, plenty of bacon in it, with egg of course... however, I dropped a star rating because it was only luke warm, my cuppacino cooled too quickly as it arrived way before the quiche and in my anticipation of getting pic altogether for this app
Hazelnut macaron delightful, melt in the mouth! -

I felt very emotional when I went to the Lindt Cafe after that terrible ordeal a couple of years back. This doesn't influence my review though.
It was a cold and wet Sunday morning not too long ago, when I walked through the doors of Lindt on Martin Place; where I was greeted very courteously and seated promptly.
It's worth noting here, that the moment you walk through the door: the sight of the displays and the smell of the chocolate ensnares your senses.
The food is simply incredible. I can recommend either the Croissant au Jambon avec Fromage (Ham and Cheese Croissant) and the Croque Monsieur sandwich. Neither of which are for the faint of heart.
Any of the coffees laced with the chocolate made on site are highly recommended. I know there's one with three different types of chocolate in. Don't bother with skim milk, go for the full cream!
When you're happily stuffed, do some impromptu shopping. Some hand made truffles, or mixed bag of Lindt balls? Whatever you fancy, you'll find it.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy :) -

The Lindt Cafe is open once again after the terrible tragedy that occurred in December of 2014. We came in on their second day after reopening and it was wonderful to see the patronage of customers and the return of staff that had been working there on that fateful day.
Although it was crowded and busy, they handled things fairly well. We received our drinks quite quickly, and they were very apologetic that the food was talking longer. We were kept well updated though. They were also kind enough to bring us little chocolates and hand made truffles while we lined up.
My mocha was perfect and the ham and cheese croissant was excellent comfort food after a long morning on my feet.
It's good to see everything back to normal, with the only reminder of that day being two brass plaques on the inside of the doorway remembering the two poor souls we lost.
